Dr. SHIJU ABRAHAM
I'm Dr. Shiju Abraham, presently working as an Asst. Prof. of Physics at St. Pius X College, Rajapuram (Kannur University), Kerala, India from October 17, 2019 onwards. Prior to that, I was a postdoctoral researcher at Zuckerberg Institute for Water Research, Ben-Gurion University of the Negev, Israel. I completed my Ph.D. in Physics (2016) from Banaras Hindu University, specializing in 2D Materials (graphene and its derivatives). My current focus of research is in the interface of biophysics and surface science; specifically, studying the self-assembly of lipid bilayers on solid surfaces, various surface fouling mechanisms, phage-bacteria interactions, etc. by employing atomic force microscopy.
